We all hate when our bathroom gets cluttered with all those shampoos, shower gel, conditioner, and other bottles. Shower caddies are a good solution, but if you are not a fan of them, a teak shower shelf is a perfect solution.
If you want to have a beautiful accessory in your bathroom, teak is the best material you can choose. Besides looking stunning, a teal shower shelf is extremely practical for those little items you need to organize in the shower.

Best Teak Shower Shelf: Choose Wisely
To help you choose a proper teak shower shelf for your bathroom, I decided to review some of my favorite pieces. I’ve checked loads of them and picked out several different styles to get something for everyone.
Shelves come in countless designs and it’s the same with teak shower shelves. Besides the design, I reviewed the quality of the wood, functionality, size and the price of the shelf.
In the end, I narrowed it down to the best ones of each style and price range.
1. EcoDecors Oasis Teak Corner Shower Shelf
I’ll cut to the chase and show you my favorite teak corner shower shelf made by EcoDecors. Built out of solid plantation grown teak and carefully designed, it’s a simple and extremely sturdy piece of furniture.
Oasis shelf comes in three versions, with two, three or four shelves for storage, depending on your needs. This teak corner shower shelf comes preassembled and ready to be used right away.
The shelf is quite compact and suitable for smaller spaces, taking up 16.75” diagonally and 12” in depth. However, the three shelves still provide plenty of room for storage.
I like how sturdy this teak corner shower shelf is. Despite its slightly steep price, it’s definitely worth it.
- Sturdy teak wood
- Suitable for small spaces
- No assembly required
- Adjustable levelers
- A bit pricey
2. Teak Wood Corner Shower Shelf by Improvement
Since the previous shelf is quite compact, this teak wood corner shower shelf is perfect if you need more storage space. Just make sure that you have enough room in your bathroom before you make a purchase.
It measures 19-3/4”W x 14”L x 24”H, offering enough space for all your bottles, towels, and soaps. Three shelves also come with a bracket on the edges so the items won’t slide off.
I like its sleek design and how much you can store on it. The price is quite reasonable too. However, it would be great if the legs were adjustable since it won’t fit slated showers.
- Beautiful natural teak
- Offers tons of storage space
- Anti-tip brackets
- Needs to be treated
- Not for smaller bathrooms
3. AquaTeak The Original Moa Wood Shelf

- Suction cups could be stronger
4. AquaTeak The Original Kai Corner Shelf
If you think the previous model was compact, check out Kai teak shower shelf by AquaTeak. It’s the smallest shower shelf made of teak that I could find to cover your basic needs.
Just like any other AquaTeak model, this teak shower shelf is made of sustainably-harvested teak. It’s also recognizable by their superior design, featured in Architectural Digest Magazine.
This small shelf also has grooves for drainage with two built-in razor ports for convenience. It’s a beautiful and handy teak shower shelf, but the price could be lower considering the size of it.
- Compact in practical
- Beautiful AquaTeak design

5. Signature Hardware 59″ Shower Shelf
Now we’re going in a completely different direction with the biggest teak shower shelf that I could find.
This shelf will be a joy if you need A LOT of storage in your bathroom or need something to fill out the room. It’s over 59” tall, 17.5” long and 13.25” wide, with four spacious shelves.
Teak wood will look great both inside the shower or separately. It could, however, use adjustable feet since a lot of showers feature slated floors.

- Comes with a removable soap dish
- Features towel hooks
- No adjustable legs
- Requires large showers
6. Teakworks4u Wood Shower Shelf
You can use this model by Teakworks4u both as a teak wood shower shelf or just a regular shelf. If you don’t have space in the corner of the shower and don’t need to much storage space, this shelf is quite a decent choice.
Made from solid Burmese teak, this teak shower shelf measures 24” W x 4” D x 3.25” H. There are two grooves along the shelf that allow the water to drain, preventing accumulation of mold.
You will probably need to oil it first, to prolong its lifespan.

- Solid Burmese teak
- Needs to be screwed in
7. AquaTeak 24” Moa Float Shelf
This is one of the best looking shelves that I had a chance to review. Of course, this stunning teak shower shelf is made by AquaTeak as well.
What’s special about this shelf is the fact that it’s a floating shelf, hiding all the mounting hardware in the body. It will look amazing both in and outside of the shower.
Carefully designed grooves along the shelf allow drainage and add to the aesthetic too. Only thing I dislike is that it’s trickier to install than the others.
- Stunning design
- Floating shelf look
- Suitable everywhere
- Sturdy teak wood
- Tricky to install
- For light items
What to Consider When Buying Teak Shower Shelves
Here are a couple of things you need to take care of when buying teak shower shelves for your bathroom. Make sure to read it all carefully.
Make sure to measure your shower before buying a teak shower shelf, so you can get a shelf suitable for your space. I usually recommend wall-mounted shelves for smaller spaces. However, if you have a lot of space to fill, big, standalone shelves are a great choice.
When you get the size of your shower, you need to think through how much storage you really need. Try to find the middle ground and get a shelf just big enough to fit all your basic items. You don’t want it to take up all your shower space.
I just mentioned them, but teak shower shelves come in two basic types, wall mounted and standalone. Standalone shelves are great for unused corners and lack of storage, while wall mounted are quite more practical, but don’t offer too much space.
If you get a standalone shelf, you won’t need mounting hardware or tools, but you can reinforce them to the wall just in case. On the other hand, wall mounted teak shower shelves are either installed by suction cups or screws. If you are not comfortable with drills and screwdrivers, go for suction cup shelves.
